Shanti Warrior Yoga is about finding the balance between strength and gentleness. Our name reflects this…
‘Shanti’ is the Sanskrit word for ‘Peace’ – and we all know that it can be a battle to find that within ourselves. That’s when we need to find our ‘Warrior’ side.
We aim to help you develop physical and mental resilience, through mindful movement and conscious direction of energy.
In simple terms, we believe in the old adage ‘less is more’…Let’s practice less judgement, less impatience with ourselves – and more compassion for ourselves and the world around us.
Namaste.

If you ever worry about feeling intimidated or self-conscious joining a new class - then this is the place for you.
None of that competitive atmosphere, just a supportive class that allows you to find your own level of practice and helps you develop confidence and a love for yoga and also a love for your own well-being.
Absolutely couldn't recommend enough!

Shanti Warrior Yoga classes have helped me to become stronger in both body and mind. They are my time to focus on me in a totally safe and comfortable environment, completely free of judgement.
Brendan is great at giving encouragement and knows exactly when and how much to push you whilst keeping you totally safe. I’ve often thought “I’ll never be able to do that” - but with Brendan’s help, patience and ability to explain things so clearly, perseverance has often paid off or at least I’m comfortable knowing I’m always improving.
All classes are relaxed and fun and are inclusive so can be enjoyed by anyone. I love being part of the ever increasing Shanti Warrior Yoga “family” and have met so many lovely people. I feel truly blessed.
